SERV Local is an outreach ministry of SERV International serving North Georgia.
SERV hosts monthly pack-outs to assemble 1000+ food boxes that are then distributed to families in need throughout Cherokee County and the surrounding communities.

SERV Local is dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals and families facing hardship in the community. We provide food, resources, and support to those struggling with poverty, unemployment, and food insecurity. By partnering with churches, businesses, and volunteers, SERV packs and distributes 1,000 food boxes monthly, offering nourishment and hope to children, seniors, veterans, and families in crisis.

The SERV Center operates as the hub of our Local ministry — hosting monthly food box pack-outs and volunteer opportunities, and offering additional resources to help meet basic needs.
Free food boxes are available for pick-up in the SERV Center Monday-Saturday until 6pm.

Just as a comfortable mattress provides physical rest, our faith in Christ offers true spiritual rest and peace. SERV uses the simple gift of a mattress as a platform to share the love of Christ with those in need throughout our local communities.
Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, SERV has now woven this vital ministry into our Local program, ensuring more families experience the comfort and dignity of a good night’s rest.
At SERV, we believe generosity changes communities—and our Play It Forward fundraiser makes giving back easy. Local schools, teams, churches, and clubs raise funds by sponsoring food boxes for families facing hunger. Each $35 box provides 25–30 lbs of groceries, snacks, and essentials, along with an uplifting note from our volunteers.
Even better, every sponsored box supports both the family receiving it and the group raising the funds, directly benefiting their programs and activities. It’s a simple way to multiply kindness and create lasting impact in our community.
Whether responding to urgent needs or fostering long-term community support, SERV remains committed to making a tangible impact in the lives of those we serve.
