I Will Never be the Same

My body has touched down in Atlanta but my spirit still soars. The Lord has honored the prayers of His people and I am safe and sound. But I will never be the same.
I have flown across the Atlantic, Scotland, England, Europe, the Mediterranean, the Sahara & the Rift Valley of Africa. Why I do not know, but this I do know, it was God ordained.
I have seen the masses in the Kibera Slum of Nairobi, the displaced persons of Kenya, the desperate living on the edge of a dump, the dead on the floor of a “hospital”. I have seen the old begging for something to eat, the young clamoring for love – especially the love of God.
I have seen orphans roaming the streets and orphans changed by the love of God’s people. In the desert where the camels roam I have seen the tears of gratitude of God’s people because we came – they were not forgotten.
I have seen God’s chosen working against the odds because God put a passion in their hearts.
I have seen first hand more than I ever expected to see.
I have seen the compassion of your people, black and white! The network that you have woven, the working together, praying and crying together.
I have seen the enemy’s direct attack. I have seen your children stand up and stand strong in his face.
Now, what am I to do? Settle back in my American complacency? Oh, please, God, NO!! Show me the next step in your plan for me.
Thanks, Serv, for being used of God!!
